Coming Soon - a new site about Norma Shearer!
I've been working on a new site about the first lady of MGM, Norma Shearer since June. However, during its construction I also decided to purchase the new domain name of Classic Movie Favorites . While I transferred my 30+ sites to their new home at Classic Movie Favorites, I had to put the work on the Norma Shearer site aside. Now that my sites are all transferred (no small feat, I might add), I am now beginning work on this site again. However, since I will be back at work next week, in my regular day job, I won't be able to complete it as soon as I would like. So, I anticipate that this site will be online by October, at the earliest (I hope).
To be notified when this site is complete and online, please send me a request. I promise to email you at that time.

new domain coming soon! - http://www.classicmoviefavorites.com
classicmoviefavorites.com
It will take me a long time to get the 25+ sites I have moved over to this new domain and all will remain the same at lynnpdesign.com until this work is done. However, once the sites are all moved to their new domain, I will also keep a forward html page on lynnpdesign.com to redirect anyone coming to my site using the old address.
So, if you want me to let you know when the new domain name is active and all my sites are moved over, please go to my email form, fill it out and send it to me, which is located at this address:
http://www.lynnpdesign.com/classicmovies/emailform.html
I have lots of work ahead of me in order to get this change made, but when its done I hope to have a more unified site with special areas like a classic movie store, a section for desktop wallpapers, streaming old time radio related to the stars on my site, general links to all of the greatest classic movie sites, etc.
Please let me know what else you'd like to see at Classic Movie Favorites, I'd love to hear from you.

What I'm working on and what I've just done.
1. LYNNPDesign.com work:
I just finished a site for the son of Glenn Ford about the new biography called "Glenn Ford: A Life in Film". Peter Ford is writing it along with Christopher Nickens, a biographer who has written biographies about alot of Hollywood personalities from Barbra Streisand, Janet Leigh, and Elizabeth Taylor to Marlon Brando. The book is scheduled to be out sometime in early 2005.
You can see the site by going to this address: http://www.glennfordbio.com.
Lynn's Classic Movie Favorites work:
I'm updating my site all the time with new information. For example, I just added another Katharine Hepburn book to my Kate site that you should buy if you're interested in all things Kate. You can find it at this address:
http://www.lynnpdesign.com/classicmovies/hepburn/video.html
I just added a link on my James Mason site to a new DVD for A Star is Born. There's an article about the film and the DVD that you might like to read. You can find it at this address:
http://lynnpdesign.com/classicmovies/mason/asib.html.
I'm currently working on a new site about Norma Shearer, which I hope to have online by late summer. It should be a large site with lots of photos and information about the First Lady of MGM. Look for a posting here about it.
My most recent site completed for Lynn's Classic Movie Favorites is one about Orson Welles, at this address:
http://www.lynnpdesign.com/classicmovies/welles.
The site has lots of information about his directing and acting career, but also about his contribution to radio. I also have The War of the Worlds in MP3 that you can listen to.
Well, I'd better get back to building those web sites. More to come.....
